Trees are living beings that make certain demands on their surroundings. Familiarity with all the behaviours of the many different species of tree is something that requires a great deal of practical experience. At Van den Berk, a huge amount of tree expertise has grown over the course of the past 80 years. It is knowledge that we are glad to share with our customers and others who are interested in trees through the publication of our book ‘Van den Berk on Trees’ and the search tool on this website.

We also embrace the opportunity of talking to green professionals in person. Each situation is different and together we are able to find the best solution a project. Once we know how the customer wants the end result to look, we are able to suggest a number of suitable species or cultivars that will suit the intended location.
